Did you also do the inside of the transom?  Pictures?

Nope.  It'll be hidden by engine dividers.  I just painted a little bedliner on the edges of the carpet there to keep it from fraying.  Prob should have just ripped it all out....but figured it may offer a little sound absorption back there.

Also, ripping out the carpet was really easy for me.  It came right up with a little pulling and putty knife.  The walls were already falling down around the tops anyway so I started there.

Ok sounds like a project I want to do...but I will wait until the season is over and make it my fall /winter project!  Thanks

Also, be sure to cut off any screw tips that might have come through where the hull and cap meet.  My favorite tool, the Dremel, came in handy for that job.

Yeah, not too impressed with the 'fit & finish' of my Malibu in certain areas...LOTS of screw tips have cut my hands.

You will be even less impressed if you have to remove your dash bezel, seats or the like and see what is behind there....lol.  Looks like a 4 year old was playing with a roto-zip!

I know we aren't supposed to see it but not very impressive.

I DID remove my dash and found a drill bit stuck in the fiberglass and a hex bit too...not impressed!
