Well earned I am certain.

Quite true.

I tried rebooting my phone (a Galaxy S4), and the discussions are still gone. Crazy.

In the mean time, I actually got some code written.

I hate mobile skins, and try to never use them. Yup, it worked when I tried the mobile skin. Went back to Full Version and it's still not showing the Discussions list. I'm using the default Android browser, by the way. I don't like Chrome.

So I discovered that I even though it is ghosted, I can click on "Discussions" and get to the subforums list.

This just started some time today. It's been fine since I joined the crew last November, and all I did was refresh the page today. Maybe I posted from the computer at home and looked at the page on the phone too close together or something. Clearly I have a cookie messed up or something. I'm looking through the file system now to see if I can find the page cache and cookies.

By the way, the toolbars never have shown up on the phone either when I'm posting in the Full Version. Makes it a pain to try to link a page to text.

I gave up trying to find the files to look at them, so I just started clearing things using the browser settings.

Cleared the cache, and nothing changed.

Cleared the cookies and page data, the page made me log in again (oh yeah, I remember the password), and everything looks fine again.

I tend to keep computers on their knees whenever possible, but this is the first time I have had this issue. I have to reboot the phone about once a week because it either locks up or web browsing gets too slow (and the phone starts getting hot). At least it's not Winders!

Glad that you got it sorted. Definitely a weird issue, not sure that I've ever seen that where it was fine on one skin & hosed up on the other.

Who looks at notifications? Thanks for the reminder. Zero again.

If you're not going to look at them you could disable them... but I take it the high number doesn't bother you anyway

I think I have them mostly disabled now, and you have to actually notice the little thing in the corner to let it bother you....

And speaking of the "crazy" smiley emoticon, I laugh every time I see that guy. I'm pretty sure I know where he's coming from!
