Hooking up Led's to factory ACC switch?

I have a 2014 Axis A22 and was wondering if any has experience hooking up Led's to these switches? I have two ACC switches that have power ran to them from the factory but I am not that sure of how to hook into them since I have never done it. Is it is simple as splicing into them via pos and neg wires? Thanks in advance

the switches light up when you turn them on? How many prongs are on the back?

Yeah the switches light up when I turn them on, so I know they have power to them. I havent looked on the back of them yet ( I prob shouldve done that before asking...I know) but they are the standard silver toggle switches in the newer Axis line. Not the rocker switches that are on the older malibus.

There is probably an open terminal on the back of the switch that you would connect to. If anything like mine, when the power is already there, it is connected to the accompanying circuit breaker. Pretty nicely set up by Malibu with most of the pre-wiring done.

If that is the case, would I just need to tie the positive from the led into the positive on the switch and the same for the negative? Thats what i assumed i would need to do but didnt wanna screw something up. Ive never messed with led's in the boat before.

LEDs have polarity, you have to be sure to get the plus to the plus and minus to the minus. The ground (negative) will go to a central terminal block, usually up under the dash. You'll see a lot of black wires terminated there. The positive will go to the switch.
