Wedge knowledge? Please help!

Ok so my wedge foil was completely pitted and rotted (straight) I found an (angled) wedge foil online (super good deal)

I have a 2005 Vride, what is the major differences between the angled and straight? Will it make that much difference? Should I wait for a straight wedge or will i be ok with the angled one?

actually, you sould have the angled foil to begin with, straight foil is wrong

Are you sure?? Every vride I've seen has the straight foil not the one that lools like a slight 》

My 2005 had the echelon shaped foil. I replaced it with a floater.

floating wedges aside (all are flat). Typical rule of thumb, if the boat has a wake hull, it has a Veed wedge foil, if it has a diamond hull, the wedge is flat.

I have ran both on my 1998 VLX with a V23 hull. No real difference the flat wedge was a bit more aggressive vs the V wedge but not a huge difference, imo................V wedge is for wake hull flat is for diamond hull...........
