Looking for 5 Bar diamond plate for trailer fender step-

Recommended Posts

Couple years ago 1 of the diamond plate step pieces on my 2005 Extreme trailer fell off. I have since removed them all, cleaned up all the nasty gunk that was under them and put some fresh paint down as I get ready to glue them back on. Problem is I can't find anyone with the 5 Bar diamond pattern aluminum to make a new piece for me. I sent an email to Extreme Trailers and have no reply yet. Went to a local metal shop, they could only buy it in a 16'x4' sheet and wanted me to pay $500 since they didn't want to carry it. I then tried a local trailer dealer and they just told me they can't get it either. Arrgh, anyone have a source for a small 1'x1' piece of this aluminum diamond plate that is evidently made of unubtanium? I'm S/W of PDX in Newberg.

Thanks!

Bob

Do you need the 6x24" pieces that go on the top of the fenders between the wheels or the little pieces on the front and rear of the fenders? If you need the top pieces I have two that I took off to put malibu grip tape from Bakes. PM me

Looking for a 1'x1' piece that I can cut for the step on the front of the fender. But thanks for the offer.

I only see one pattern of diamond plate, and it's not the right one. But, I may have found a source-

I have an email out to them to see if I can get a small chunk instead of a large sheet.

Mine had the grip tape that cracked and looked crappy, so I pulled it off, cleaned up the glue, and took black paint and added fine sand to it and painted it on, it looks like the tape, but much better.
