Lake Temperature Display

Recommended Posts

Does any one know where the signal for the lake temp display comes from? My '05 v-ride (Monsoon) started to show the water temp at around 110 degrees yesterday and then gradually crept up to 120 or so degrees (actual temp around 70). Any suggestions? I couldn't find where it gets its signal from, or if there is a way to calibrate it.

Thanks for you help.

I believe my 03 has an individual temperature probe. After 03, I think the paddlewheel might have the sensor in it.

Mine is mounted with the transducer for the depth finder. My air temp guage does not work. The company that makes this guage has had numerous problems with them and does not sell one under their own brand name. The guage has a one year warranty.

I haven't examined my transducer, but I thought it was just a flat, flush black plastic disk. Where in transducer is the water temp sensor? Huh....Thanks for any aditional advice.

Next trip to the lake I will climb under the boat and look at the bottom. I think mine is mounted in the same hole with transducer. I did not mean that it was built in to the transducer
