what does a G look like beached?

Maybe they are really pulling on the res and he got caught. Looks like that area has water most of the time.

 Dude, there's a well established tree like 2' higher than the waterline. I don't think, unless he actually tied off to the tree, he could have anchored any closer to shore. And to be honest, I'd bet a large amount of money he just beached the thing and ran a 10' bow line to a sand spike rock.

Rookie with a G. Classic.

I've seen this before in AZ. Water drops, nobody notices or cares and then you end up with this. Water comes back up and it floats again the next day.

Last year I was out there one guy was doing a beer bong but instead of beer he used vodka. A vodka bong!!!! he was challenging people in a bong battle! Hour later he was done! Couldn't even stand up. So his boat would be the last thing in his mind and this sort of thing happens. Probably some dumb story like this relating to this picture.

but in his defense.......... how could he possibly have known the level of the waterway he was on fluctuated based on power consumption

.......you know..... other than the GIANT power lines running directly towards said waterway

You must own a Mastercraft

I don't like most Mastercrafts. There is lot to not like about the G (looks, fake teak, awful dash, so-so tower, high price) but there is nothing in the Malibu lineup that can make as sweet of a wakeboard or surf wake. I love our 'Bu and next boat will likely be one too but the G is one hell of a boat.

Probably right. I just don't need that wake or wave. I'm not there yet. Maybe some day. For now it'd be like buying GraveDigger to haul my firewood & bark dust.

Grave Digger would be an awful truck for actual truck uses. :)

That said, the G is FAR beyond my wakeboard skill set (hell, mine loaded up is beyond it). But surf wake, the more the better, even at semi-novice levels.
