Of course we are. Still the clean Malibu wake shape and firmness behind the DDs, just a bit smaller.

Goes to proving the point that technique and skill goes a long way. Great riding Petrie, fun to watch. Looks like you were going fast too like 21+? We're usually 20 or just under.

I'm the slow guy on boat! I love riding at 65' 21mph when possible. The other guys in the boat ride at 70' @ 22mph and 75' @ 22.5 or 23mph. They're insane, I can't imagine taking a digger at that speed. A friend of a friend rides at 75'-80' at 25... I think he could plead insanity if he ever went to court... that's nuts.

Man you guys use long ropes. I use to ride at 55ft at 21.5mph I don't think I could ride at 70+ and clear the wake, I just wouldn't have enough airtime. Now I ride 65ft at 22mph. The faster this boat goes the smaller the wake too, maybe I should try slowing down a bit, would have to adjust for carving and drag.

If you slow down a bit you might have to change your weight configuration a little as well, probably need to move a little more towards the bow if possible. If I remember correctly, I was technically riding 65' at 21.3 mph. We shifted the weight just a little and boom, w2w no problem with a few inverts. Heck, I even straight aired w2w toeside which is hard for me. I can scarecrow and toeside w2w 180 fine, but I can't straight air w2w... something's wrong with me.
