'00 VLX on trailer made for 05-08 VLX?

Will this work? I recognize they are different hulls, but wondering it the boat will still fit properly? Unfortunately I don't really have the chance to test. Anyone done this before?

My bunks fit right along to grooves on the bottom of my 05 VLX so my gut says probably not without moving the bunks since it is wider. I'm not sure though.

I am guessing it will work. I put my 98 Sunsetter (same hull as yours i think) on a trailer that came out from under a 2006 VLX. Fits like a champ.

It is the same hull as mine. What brand trailer did you put it on?

I beleive Performance made it, if I remeber right.

The thing that makes me think it wont is the beam dimension: the SV23 Wake is 5"inches smaller than the v25 wake hull. Draft is also less18" vs 24", but that could be weight based and not affect fit on the trailer.

Maybe you should talk to this guy about his 2001 trailer - assuming you don't need a swing tongue.
