Guess I joined the frat cause I just purchased my first malibu (1st boat ever actually) it's a '89 sunsetter. Want to say thanks to all the commenters that gave advise on what to look for. Very sound and honest boat... Solid motor mounts, engine runs smooth, good floor, stringers r good, interior is in good shape for age... Solid guy to work with on hammering out the deal. He gave lots of accessories to boot as well. Guess I have to learn to wakeboard ... Ha ha ha

Taking her out on wed to do some trials n some bonding....

P.s. if some one can fill me in how to post a pic

When you go to links you need to copy IMG based links to thread. You posted the link to the photo bucket site where your boat pic is located. Nice BTW!

@built2rev we live in the west valley so we usually go to pleasant... That's where we're going on wed. But my dad likes to go to saguaro a lot so it'll mostly b between those 2.

@pook77 I've skied once in the worst chop and never boarded. Bought a wakeboard off of the previous owner and the boat has a high pole so I plan to at least give it a try... All the YouTube videos of surfing behind these things look awesome as well!!
