Fuel Tank Vent

Recommended Posts

h2oaddiction

This afternoon I noticed a lot of fuel leaking out of the vent on the port side of the VLX. I've never seen this before on any vehicleIt. Is this due to improper ventilation on this boat? Or is it due to having access to the fuel tank on both sides?

It really isn't that hot today (82*) for there to be that much pressure built up??

Mine does the same if the tank is more than 1/2 full and it gets warm out. Only happens on the trailer from what I've noticed.

It was very strange to me when I noticed it. It was on the trailer, so maybe it has something to do with how the boat is resting? I'm glad that I'm not the only one.
