OJ #310 vs #316

Hello,

Anyone out there try the OJ props #310 (3 blade 13 x 11.5) vs the #316 ( 3 blade 13 x 12)? I had the people at OJ recommend the 310, but their guide and another person recommended the 316. We have a Mystere 215 LX and mostly slalom and foot. I'm asking here because the person I spoke with at OJ didn't really offer any difference between the 2 for performance and actually recommended staying with the Legend that is on there instead of the newer XMP's.

Thanks.

I've had both props on my RLXi. The #310 will provide a little stronger hole shot, will also spin more RPM's at speed. I'd expect you'll spin 100 - 150 rpms higher at WOT than compared to the #316. My guess is that you'll have similar top end speed on either prop.

I run the #316 on my 05 RLXi.

Also of note, you'll have better speed holding capability vs the Legend you're running today.

I called OJ the other day without much help also. They pointed me to the #330 13x11.5 LC 1-1/8 for Slalom, Foiling and towing the kids around with my 05 Response. They did say the #330 replaces an old cast 13x13 which is on my boat now. Later down the road I may switch to one of their 13x12 for more top end.
