She's high and dry.....!

Have been in the market for a boat lift for some time. But it had to be a floating one as authorities don't allow me to install a permanent one next to my houseboat. Tried a DIY solution with air filled floaters and an old trailer construction, but that didn't work out well....

Bumped into a two year old Sunstream Floatlift a couple of weeks ago. These are very rare in The Netherlands and cost a fortune... decided to pull the trigger however and picked her up last week. Was a 2x3 hour trip from my place up and down the river.

BU has been floating high and dry for a week now... literally a breeze to get her up and down... Can highly recommend the Sunstream..!!

Those are great lifts, FIL has one at his place in FL. The ability to walk around the whole boat to wipe down is really nice. (They cost a fortune here in the US too ;)

Now that's pretty slick! A nice way to cuddle your BU.

And to think I may have an opportunity to see it up front.....lol... I'm jealous

of how calm your river looks, Great for footin!

On a sidenote:

I was out today for the first foot of the season, water was rough, was a very

ungraceful short line run. Hoped out on the boom, grabbed the short line, swing out and buried myself

head over heal over arms over a$$..... not a pretty sight. Yes all captured on video, shortest run ever. Lol....
