Hey guys,

Looking for some help/insight on my speaker situation. I am in the process on deciding if i want to purchase the new WetSounds WS-420BT or wait and see what exile comes out with for my speaker separation problems. for the mean time i am thinking about using a level control knob to get the job done so i can turn down my in boat speakers and blast my towers for when riding. I attached two diagrams. one that is my current setup and one that i think might be what my future "tomorrow" setup is. My main questions are if there would be to many speakers on one amp if i put all my in-boat speakers on one amp. Or if my diagram where i run the speakers in there current setup but run the rca cables together for my front and rears to go through the level controller. My system is what i think is stock Rockford Fosgate system. My tower and front speakers are currently running of a P400-4 amp, my rears are running of a P500-2 amp, And my sub is running off a P400-2 amp. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd run:

- P-400(4) for all in boat speakers, off front out on black box. Yes, you can run 8 speakers off the 4 channels with 2 speakers per channel. The amp is stable at 2 ohms.

- P-500(2) just for tower off rear out on black box.

This simply allows you to fade from front and rear for tower volume control. May guys do this as a inexpensive step before getting a true eq.
