Charger Install

I just ordered a pro mariner charger to install in my boat.

For those with a permanent install, how have you installed this?

My boat has a small storage "pocket" in the walk thru, that is plastic. I was thinking about mounting to the backside of that using bolts and locknuts. It would be inside the storage area and just above the batteries.

Looked at doing that but decided to velcro it on the left hand side across from the batteries. Don't use that area for storage anyway.

Xtreme velcro and rested it on the floor against the left side. Been out a few times and took some big rollers while underway and it didn't budge.

Im going to install mine in that compartment on the wall facing forward to the right on the amp board. You want to screw or bolt it no velcrow or adhesive will hold when you hammering back through 3 foot waves. It'll be sitting on top of batteries......

I used screws.

From the inside where the plastic pocket goes thru wall you can feel how thick wall is. It seems to be 1" thick.
