Power wedge

I was informed today that my wedge was damaged. I'm really not sure how or when it happened, but this is the result.

So I'm too slow tonight to get the picture uploaded, but basically the starboard hydraulic cylinder appears to have broken in half. It was operational in October. Anyone else experienced this? Where's the best place to get replacements?

I'm going to try Bakes Online first.

Mine did this last year (06 LSV). One quit and the other one tore it in half. I believe I got my new ones (you're supposed to replace them in pairs) from Wholesale Marine. If not there try Deep Blue Yacht, but I'm pretty sure it was Wholesale Marine. You can always check eBay for lower prices too.

In '06-'07 the rams did have some failure problems but were redesigned and haven't heard it being a problem. Assuming the ram failed both should be replaced at the same time. It's a repair any dealer can do in a few hours.

From what I can see, it appears to be a fairly simple replacement. Each connection on the cylinder looks to be designed for easy removal. Has anyone replaced these themselves?

Thanks for the supplier info and comments on this issue.

If your mechanically inclined probably not. Mine was under warranty so I elected to have my (no longer a dealership) preform the work. I watched as they did it one of my exhaust tips have to be removed to complete the fix.

The ram is made my Lenco Marine.

I did it on a buddy's 07 LSV, it's pretty simple, getting the wires fed and the waterproof connectors back in is probably the hardest part.
