We finally got it all cleaned up, inside and out. It was really filthy. Also changed the oil, transmission fluid, and v-drive fluid in it this week.

Got it out on the water this morning. It ran great!

However, I will have to adjust the shaft packing nut as water was running into the boat, not dripping. The bilge pump ran 3 times and that was in addition to the 2 times I switched it on. And we were only on the water for a couple of hours.

Got the packing nut tightened up. Hopefully get a chance to test it this weekend.

Happy to hear she cleaned up well for you. I just went through a similar experience albeit closer to home.
