Arc Audio 300.4

I have a VLX that has sound pack 1 so I am only running the 4 in boats off the factory head unit and amp. I have added a hand me down 10" alpine sub and M500 amp which adds a little low end. I have a set of the stock RF 6.5's in my garage and can pick another set up for pretty cheap/free. I am not looking to bust ear drums but will the addtion of an Arc Audio 300.4 running 8 in boats, make a significant impact on sound quality? Its a 4 channel amp which is rated at 175w at 2 ohms. I can get the amp for about $200. I do not see myself tearing the system down and doing it over the top for quite some time. To many toys on the list that will come before a quality system but a couple hundred dollars is not a huge price to pay if it will make enough of a difference. Thanks in advance.

85+ watts rms to each of your 6.5" in-boats will make a significant difference in both volume and sound quality.

$200 for that amp is a great deal. That's what I run my 8 in boats on. They sound great. Plenty of power. ARC amps are usually underrated in power, meaning they produce more than they are rated for.
