two weekends ago we had 14" of ice. Last Saturday I rode across on the 4 wheeler. When I left for work this morning, there was a little open water at the island, when I got home tonight from work most of the ice was gone :) My cove is still ice but should be gone by Sunday.Docks go in next weekend!!

We are in southern New Hampshire, 35 minutes from Boston. It's raining now so it will eat the rest of the ice. Docks go in Sunday morning!

I am in southeast MA getting ready to put it in this weekend for a quick test run now that our ice is out.

  • 2 weeks later...

My lake had its ice out today, but unfortunately the lake level is about 1-2' high and so the beach is too small to work on to install the docks and the water is cooooooooooooold. Need to get some neoprene shoes in addition to my wetsuit.

I also just bought a Hewitt 4200 cantilever...just waiting on the level to go down so i have some real estate to assemble it
