raising seat in Euro f3

I've seen a few topics on raising seats but couldn't see anyone that did it this way so here is another way to do it.

So I pulled the seat rails off a car seat, and cut all the mounting brackets off them, so I was left with bare rails. Then I simply drilled holes in each side to suit the existing seat bolts. I also cut 4 pieces of 1 and 3/4 inch stainless channel 2 inches long each to space it up that extra little bit, drilled the mounting holes and bolted the rails and spacers to the original glass box. I also cut a hole in the front of the box to access that previously wasted storage! Works so well, heaps better vision now! And with the way it's designed, if you want the seat higher, just slide it forward, and for the taller people, when they slide the seat back it goes down so their heads aren't above the windshield. Hope this is helpful for anyone thinking of raising their seats!
