As a proud new Malibu owner I was woundering if anyone could help me with what type of wedge i need on my 1990 malibu skier. The hard thing is i live in new Zealand and my father has just purchased it for me in Texas. i need to give him pretty specific instructions as he is new to the boating world. I cant waait to get everything done to it in a container and down here. Help.gif

just our of curiousity, will it fit in a standard container? Can i ask what the freight cost is?

Wilma

Hey Wilma,

My family works in frieght in Houston so my price doesnt reflect the standard rate. It wont fit in a 20 fott container, but you can co share a 40. If you talk with most freight companies they can organise. Another option is top stow which is the cheapest of them all, not as secure but if you package it right it safe as houses. ROFL.gif

"!996 and newer, your transom isn't designed for a wedge, not enough strength"

is this really true?? I have a 95 echelon, and was told by my dealer that it would be no problem. they would just have to take out the gas tank when they mount it?? I am probably not going to do it, (too costly) but was just curious as to if it really is not able to withstand the stress.....
