Restore drip molded decals

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have any tips to remove scratches and a rough surface texture from the drip molded decals. They have a rough "bubbly" or sandpaper texture to the surface, likely from years of exposure.

There's no real way I'm aware of to repair those drip-molded decals without making them look fuzzy. They'll likely not have that clean look they had when new.

Could pull them and go naked while you decide what to put there.

There's a trick using acetone and a rag to melt/smooth the surface of plastic and rubber materials. Not guaranteeing it will work but I restored the rubrail on my vride that had turned greyish in a lot of spots. Might worth a shot if there's no other suggestions.
