Can't seem to find the link to the video of KSO's world record barefoot slalom passes? I had found it on BFC (Barefootcentral.com) but cannot find it anymore? Is it just me or...Crazy.gif or has it been taken out?

What is barefoot slalom? One foot?

Barefoot slalom is simply how many times you can cross the wake in 20 seconds. Typically, you get two passes one must be frontwards and the other may be backwards. I'm not exactly sure how the scoring works, but I believe one foot crosses are worth double the points.

It's 15 seconds (In Canada anyways...), one foot crossings are worth 1 point, 2 foot are half points. You must do a front and a back pass, if you choose to do 2 front passes, your worst score between the 2 passes is devided in half. Your passes may be a mix of one and two foot, but points are calculated accordignly. The sum of the passes are then summed up. Here is the link to the video directly ( Thanks mlange) KSO Video Notworthy.gifDrool.gif

Here are some really dated shots of front and back slalom runs.

The skier is Keith St. Onge, 16 years old, Lake Memphramagog (however you spell that), behind their Barefoot Brendella outboard. And if you can learn tricks behind that boat, you too can be a world champion.
