I'm re-doing some of my upholstery and have removed everything from the rear trunk and seat area except the fuel tank. While I have so much removed I'll replace the blower ducts since they have gotten brittle and the fule filter. I'll also do a pressure wash just because.

I see what I assume is a check valve on the fuel vent line and I wonder if I should replace it. I have never been able to fill the tank at a fast rate of flow without having fuel spew out the vent. It's really annoying to say the least. Consiquently, I have to fill the tank at a very slow rate.

Is there any other preventative maintenance I should do while I'm doing everything else?

I used to have fuel spill out the vent so when I installed the new style vent I added some hose so the line travelled higher to the top of the gunnel, problem solved. :)
