AR-19 vs Pledge

Ok, I could have sworn I read a post about this stuff But, I couldn't find it. So, I was curious has anyone used this stuff? Is it safe to use on the Gelcoat? Hubby told me he used it on the car and it works great. I was also told by by the service dept at Malibu that Pledge was great to shine your gelcoat. They said that they have a customer that sprays his boat down BEFORE every launch to give it that showroom shine. What do you guys think?

I've heard of people using pledge before, but I've never heard of AR-19.

There are people that use 303 on the gel too, but I don't. It seems to leave a greasy film.

Ar-19 looked alot like AR-15 to me. I was thinking this thread was going to be about an AR-15 round into a pledge can. Boy, was I wrong!

I've always used pledge on seats with great results, but I don't like the look it puts on the gelcoat, I'd just stick to some easy spray on wax or something of that nature.

I thought the same thing Martho....hmmm...someone revised the AR15?

or.... Yep, that AR19 sure BLEW AWAY the pledge can, no competition at all.

We use McGuire's Quick Detail when we pull the boat out. If we have a lot of water spots we do a quick wipe down with 50-50 vinegar and water and then wipe it down with McGuire's, works great.

The Babe's seat soap is great for a quick wipe down. It makes the boat smell really good too. If my vinyl needs a good scrubbing then it's Mr Clean Magic Eraser. I use 303 periodically to keep it in good condition.
