Is the new Perfect Pass display worth the $200.00

Currently I have last years single line display Wakeboard Pro with the 6.5n chipset. I was wondering if I'm really missing out not having the new, multi line display 6.5nG . My understanding is that I would be looking at dropping another $212 to upgrade to the newer model. Although I could probably e-bay the old display.

Anyone have the new model? Is it easier to navigate, simpler to operate. The new model appears to display more pertinent information.

I have the new display and 6.5 software since I added PP last month. I almost always like the latest and greatest things but I think I prefer the old gauge this time for one reason..... because the new display totally replaces the tachometer on my VLX. It does have a digital readout for RPMs but the that doesn't really work as well as a mechanical, analog gauge. I much prefer the analog tach when pulling someone up.

It does let you enter a name with a pre-set speed for that person but honestly I think it's easier to just bump up or down a mph or two than to use that feature, just like on the old display.

Good point on the analog tach. When I pulling someone up, I find myself looking at the tach and the rate that the engine is picking up RPM. Makes a good arguement to keep what I have. I saw one post of a guy that put the 6.5ng underneath the dash just so he could maintain an analog tach.
