So obski, what were you saying a while back about a new person running the shop there thats making some good changes Tease2.gif Good of them to take care of you though!!! What was the damage to the engine once the impeller failed?

The head mechanic that I had built a relationship with apparently left about 3 months ago. I don't know the circumstances of his leaving. I will have to ask, because I liked him quite a bit.

I'm not sure of the extent of the damage, but it would take time to get it repaired. It would be covered by insurance, but the big issue is the time and then the question about how it will be after repairs. I had been talking about trading in the boat anyway for a new one, so this gets me back out on the water quickly and reliably.

I didn't plan this out, but I'm not complaining. I feel like a kid in a candy store picking out a new boat and my wife told me to get whatever I want. Yahoo.gif

Looks like it was the impeller.
