Wedge Access Door - Latch is Loose

Hello,

I have an 04 Wakesetter with a teak swim deck. The metal latch in the wedge access door is very loose and easily comes out. Any suggestions on the proper way to correct this?

The easiest way to do this is get the next diameter screws. Make sure they are stainless. quick fix that I did on mine this year was to take a small sliver of wood put it in the hole and put original screws back in. which reminds me I should fix it this winter.

Golf tees in existing holes from screws if nails in Any material work awesome for filling them in!

if the screw holes on the hinge are not symmetrical you might be able to remove the hinge and re-install it after turning it end for end.
