Im about to put the ecm back in the boat, problem is i didnt take it out. Connectors on both sides look identical. Ecm has j1 and j2 stamped on each side. One of the wire looms in the boat has a j1 sticker around it. Im assuming just match the j1? Just nervous about screwing something up.

That is correct, I just did mine. On mine they wouldn't interchange but if one of yours is marked, you should be good to go.
