Camp far west ?

I called last week ironically and they were at 42% capacity. I personally would not go out because they do not mark any hazards. Must be why they call this lake the Wild West, its every man for himself! The lake is already super shallow when its full. I would hit the sac river or oroville, both of them should be a safe bet. I had a scare this season there, fell wakeboarding look over to my left and see a boulder about 2 feet under water... would have been ugly for myself or our boat hitting it. I told the front store about boulder in water and they said sorry can't do anything about it, we dont mark hazards...nice.

I saw someone this season almost sink his Tige, they hit some rocks by the dam...ripped a hole in boat. Literally were pulling on the trailer while boat is sinking... it was pretty wild, wife was driving like a crazy while husband was trying to frantically back down trailer attached to RV. Good news is boat did not sink, bad news was it should have went down, would have made the insurance claim much easier with a new boat! Boat was filled half way with water.
