Drain hose and tranny fluid change

Recommended Posts

I was just reading the manuals and it says there is a drain hose? Any pic of this for the monsoon 350? I have always pumped it from the top on previous years. Also any pics on where the drain plug/filter is on the tranny? I know it is first grade stuff but I am just not familiar with the set-up.

The engine oil drain hose is about 2 ft long and is clipped onto the top, front, port side of the engine. I'm not aware of a drain plug for the tranny. Just suck the tranny oil out the dip stick hole.

Edit: I've circled the engine oil drain hose on an LCR. It's in the same spot on the 350 monsoon.

That is the recommended ENGINE oil yes but not the tranny fluid. Yours may be different than mine but my old 99 takes Dexron/Mercon transmission fluid.
