Need Opinions on This Boat

Just saw this boat. Biggest thing I don't like is the snap on cover and the ride graphics would have to go. http://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?topic=Search&category=Comp_Boat&postid=25963

This is an interesting boat as well...not sure how I feel about the VTX. http://www.onlyinboards.com/Details.aspx?ID=41054

You do realize that that's a 23', right?

Yea I did. We have 5000# lift so it should be able to handle a 23. I realize I am all over the board but my biggest criteria in the search is the tower.

That's my VTX on OnlyInboards. I just posted it as I'm ordering a new 23 LSV. My wife hates that I'm selling because of all the extras we just added, but I just can't help myself.

If a crew member is interested in it I would add in some items they would appreciate.

Fat Sac Bow Sac 711

Plus, I have the boat wired up with another 400lb fat sac under the observer seats with a Ballast Puppy Jabsco pump. It is PNP plumbed in already - very nice. $450 invested in that this last July.

I also have a new extra Acme 1273 prop that I would throw in for the right price. IMO the best prop for this boat - over the 1235. The stock one was a 537. I still get 40-41mph with the 1273 and the hole shot is good with 1600lbs of extra fat sacs (plus stock ballast) and 8 people in the boat.

I just posted the boat on OnlyInboards today, but I'm going to list it on here as well.

Take care.

I definitely like the ride because of the size and tower but the dang snaps kill me. At the same time tower is bare, stereo upgrade would be needed, bow sac, and graphics removed/changed.

I like everything about the VTX except that it is a VTX and doesn't have the power wedge. I will say this the boat is pretty much ready to go as is.

Snaps have mixed reviews for sure. My cousin had a 98 SS and installed snaps when he bought it. As long as it's installed right it is fine, no gel cracks anywhere from the snaps, still works great and the boat has 1000+ hours. I agree though I do not like the looks of them.

Found this boat. I'm not sure if it is a sunscape or what. Looks like a VLX to me but I could be wrong. Only problem with this boat is the colors if it is a VLX. http://www.onlyinboards.com/Details.aspx?ID=41217

Have you looked in the classifieds on this site? Mine is for sale there with more options and hours but les $$$ and closer to your location.

Must have posted this after I looked today. I have actually talked with the owner of this boat in the last couple months. I remember this boat from the previous owner (who is a member of the crew) and got in contact with the seller. I love just about everything on this boat. Only thing that scares me is the hours and it has had a major engine over haul do to an overheat.

Looks like an overpriced Sunscape to me. It would have a factory tower if it were a Wakesetter and the Titan 2 wasn't factory in 2006 as far as I've ever seen.

It has the Titan 3 tower on it. My guess is it is a Wakesetter that has been mislabeled.

Im pretty sure I missed it somewhere, but what is your budget?

I would really like to be in the low 40s but just not sure that is possible. Like I have said in the past, I really don't even need to upgrade but I know the performance of our boat for surfing is lacking.
