jack question

Recommended Posts

i don't know jack, so i need to ask the crew -

i have a fulton swivel jack, and need to replace it - the wheel bracket is breaking away from the jack part. I can't find the part number on it - anyone know where to look? Also, i have the welded on model - can i remove the jack i have and install just the jack part - I assume I want to buy a replacement welded model.

I had to rebuild the gears in my F2 and used etrailer.com and was happy with the service and price. They carry pretty much all of the Fulton line from the looks of it.Good luck, Bill.

As a side note anyone having to rebuild the gears in their jack may want to shim the gears accordingly. My old set had so much play between the contact surface of the gear faces that they stipped off teeth. Shimming them helped take out almost all of the slop and play in the crank.
