ignition control module

Is there any difference between an ingition control from my local oreilly or napa and the one from bakes? 99 indmar monsoon.

This is a question that needs to be answered by someone with some indepth knowledge. In the early to mid 90's ignition timing control was a function of the ignition module so the programing could be much different than that of a non-marine engine. Anything with electronic fuel injection made in the 8 to 10 years uses the ECM to control ignition timing. Knowing exactly what years do what takes some specialized training or experience.

There shouldn't be. I have an 04 VLX, and got my new ICM from OReillys. Worked just fine. When you go in, ask for an ICM off of a 1992 Chevy K1500 Truck, which has the 350 block in it and have all the same ignition components.
