I have an in bed camper now. Small little 8' Lance with a queen bed. It's ok now but when the kids get bigger I think I might just get a dually and a truck camper with slides. Heavy, sure, but the space is amzing for a truck camper and i'm not winning any races while I tow. I do like the Fifth conv. Well done. I would totally consider it if I came across the right toy hauler at the right price.

Two summers of use now and the overall concept is working great. We defiantly have found a few things we would like to do differently thou, make it bigger next time! We are both amazed at how little trouble we have getting around. We almost left it 5ft longer that would have left us with the stove, table and big sink but we were worried about getting it too long and heavy, we are kinda regretting it now. We would gladly exchange the extra room for a little trouble getting into places, we just really have no trouble now! This was kinda an experiment to see if it would work anyhow and we would like to find a more modern camper with slideouts to do another one to really travel with. I am assuming things are a little more open out west, the couple campgrounds we were in when we went south were set up for bigger campers alot more then around here so a few feet bigger shouldn't be a big deal. Here are a few more pics from this weekend.

I think the camera man needs to learn how to hold still!!

Great toy hauler for the water minded. I've been thinking about the whole boating/camping thing but the logistics are difficult. This would definitely solve many issues. Nice job.
