For a long time (2008) I thought you could not connect iPhones or iPods via the USB connection to the JBL black box 3 (found in 2008 models wakesetters). This I know to be true..... However can you connect via the 30 pin din connector and plug into the black box to get them to function without upgrading to a JBL-3.45 or newer ?

Another question.....

Is there a USB Bluetooth adapter which would work when plugged into the USB on the stereo which would allow the iPhone3/4&5 or iPods to stream through ?
