Jasco Engines installed by Waterski America

I would not use Jasper and good in the same sentence. Have you had much time around them? They definitely take cost cutting measures to make their reman engines cheaper than the manufactures do.

Warranty claims are problematic to get solved and they use substandard components at times. I would not buy one.

The majority of boat dealers in thie region are using Jasper....never heard of a single problem. I know they rebuild 10 to 15 a year whenever we have a freeze - again never heard on single complaint

Are we talking a block swap or a new engine?

Why are going to WSA versus Cen Tex?

Looking at buying a '97 boat that had a freeze cracked block. The owner has already had WSA do the work, so I'm not sure if I want to buy it or not. I believe that they replaced the block including pistons crank etc, but used previous heads, mainfolds, headers, risers, fuel system etc. Actually not sure about the heads. I should have taken more pictures, but when I saw it my gut said to walk away, so I did. But I believe the seller is lowering the price enough that I may get interested again.

The one pic I have FWIW...
