Looking for a new depth sounder....

I've got a '91 f3 Sunsetter that has the original depth sounder and temp gauge in the dash. The original owner said it quit working a couple years after he bought it. Can they be fixed or should I get something else? Is there a product that would fit in the vacant hole in the dash if I removed the original one? <br /><br />old Bu's are like fine wine<br /><br />
