Power Wedge Question

Ricko - great job on the pics. That's really helpful information! I wonder how uniform all of our guages are from boat to boat. I may have to do this experiment myself to see how our results compare.

Great innovation with the hair dryer! Thanks for the effort! Thumbup.gif

Nice job Rick. Great set up and pictures. I'll be checkng mine today to see if I get any different results but I doubt it. Where do you get your info on the safe/approved wedge postion for riding? I was looking and can't find anything about that.

Again, thanks for the results. Cheers.gif

db252,

I don't remember where I saw that info on the wedge position. I'll have to dig out my manual and see if it's there. I remember a dealer telling me when I went for a test ride that you only run it from half down to full down on the gauge. Also, when you are bringing it up, when you hit the half down (6 o'clock) position on the gauge, it starts beeping and flashing the warning on the screen. I remember the dealer telling me that when it gets into this part of the range, it is supposed to come all the way up even if you let go of the switch, but mine does not. I've got the dealer checking on this now to see if mine is how it is supposed to work.

great set of pic's...thank you!

I used a leaf blower to get mine movin'. it was loud.

so, really there are only 4 legal riding positions between 1/2 & full down. I counted all the way up as position 1. I also found that i had to hold the button down to bring it all the way up.
