Sorry to hear. Was there last year with a collar bone (twice).

Side note if he's 14 does he have his boater's safety? Perfect time to get him behind the wheel more often to hone his skills there and not feel left out on the boat.

Excellent idea - even if he's a pretty good driver, never hurts to get more time behind the wheel!

Good friend of ours is recovering from broken ankle suffered while hiking. Currently 3 weeks post op after having a plate w/ 7 screws inserted. You are right sd, absolutely no weight on the foot even with a hard cast. Can't imagine getting bounced around in the boat would be much fun either. Best of luck to your son for a full and speedy recovery.

That and the high 5 at the end are my favorite parts. The two kids he goes and sits down with are testing with him and are regulars on our boat. great kids.
