I was running the boat wide open trying to out run a storm and the boat starting loosing power and smoke started coming out from under the seats, I opened the hatch and oil smoke was pouring out of the breather hose on the starboard valve cover, I changed the impeller and checked all the fluids, everything looked fine, any ideas.....

Is that you throwing that sick whip or is that CR TwoTwo?

So I wonder what made the engine lose power in your situation. No alarm or gauges showed problems? Would a sticky pcv make it lose power?

Just curious, when was the last time you ran it WOT? Maybe your oil frothed up.

Did you shred the impeller and not clean out where it would go (I can't think of the name of it right now). Help me out guys.

Transmission oil cooler screen.

I had almost a full impeller in my transmission cooler screen, and my boat ran hot, it didn't smoke like we're saying here. my boat did however kick itself into limp mode real quick.

How much smoke and for how long? does your engine still run and if does what happens? Oil pressure? Engine temp? Sorry, fumes mean doom and is symptomatic of excess oil in the combustion chamber. How do the plugs look and I'd start with a compression and leakdown test.
