Someone posted that on wakeworld. Apparently it was the girls brother trying to scare her.

Well I think he acomplished that.. hopefully she gets back on the board again and the dad laid a bead down on the stupid son.

Made me sick watching that. I would have probably done something I'd later regret if that was one of my girls on the end of that rope...

You got that right, zero tolerance for that kind of stuff

This is why I yell at jetskiers on the lake, my goal is to make sure they nevet forget the black and white malibu...that guy is a jerk, stay away from him... perfect! I cant stand them anywhere close to our boat!

What a dumbass kid. Hope his old man thumped him good. And I hope his riding privileges are gone for a LOOOONG time.

You guys saying that "all jetskiers are bad" are basically profiling them. I'm certainly no fan of them either. But I know guys who ride, and I've ridden before myself. A responsible jetskier who knows the rules on the lake is far better than a poser Malibu owner who doesn't know jack about what he's doing.

Bill.

Really can't argue your fact! There are winners out there in their boats to, it does come down to common sense. Lacking thereof....

Just I have had so many jet skies come up into my wake over the years and it frustrated the heck out of me!

The problem is 95% of them DO NOT know how to ride or use proper etiquette around boats, or they are under aged kids illegally riding them at 70+ mph with no way to stop them.... they are death traps. Every year on our local lake someone gets hit by a jet skier, it never fails...

I don't disagree with either of you. Fman, your point indicates that it's the PARENTS who are at fault here......the kid is still learning to know better. And it's THEIR JOB to teach him some sense.

BTW, just last night I towed a kid & his Jetski home. We were between riders (BarefootPaul, your bro is doin GOOD!) and just happened to hear someone yelling for help. I guess we could have pummeled him while he was down, but we towed him ashore & went back to riding till dusk.

The 80 mph bass boats are the problem in my area. Seems like I'm always about to get in a fight with them. They think they own the lake and don't slow down for anyone. The tournaments always start about 6:00 pm, when I had my 32' cruiser I would slow down and plow my way back to the ramp just to screw with them. That boat threw a huge wake.

It appears she fell at just the right time and hopefully didn't get hit. If it was one of my girls out there that little s*** on the jet ski better hope he didn't stop and I only got the boat numbers. In the heat of the moment I am not sure anything could stop me. All of the rage after checking on the rider of course.

We where at the lake last year and a young girl on a jet ski ran directly into the side of a pontoon right in front of us.

Parents: teach your kids to do things correctly and let them know the dangers of there actions when acting stupid.
