Wedge Hanging Low

Recommended Posts

Was looking at the boat on the lift the other day and notice in the up position the power wedge looks like it is hanging lower than usual. Otherwise it works just fine.

Is there anyway I can recalibrate the wedge to get it to stow higher in the up position? Or could I adjust the bolts to get it higher? Or is this just a sign of actuators getting tired? The boat is an 07 and we actually don't really use the wedge that much but when I ride I notice a lot of spray from it even when it is in the fully up position.

Anybody have the same issue and fixed it?

On the top plate of the wedge there are some bolts withe slotted holes. If you loosen the bolts the wedge can be move up.. The highest tip of the wedge should be 1/2" or so below the top mount that has the slotted holes. My dealer told me to check the placement each year because of the force on the wedge.

I'll take a look. This might be the ticket.
