Integrated bow sack....vent?

Is it recommended to vent an IBS (under seat)? If so, where is the best place to install the vent line to prevent siphoning?

I will be using a Johnson reversible pump for fill / drain. Any advice would be appreciated.

Do you really need a vent or overfill for the ski locker and bow since they'll never be filled completely full? Assuming your pumps are strong enough to suck the bags dry, no air should get in, correct? I'm trying to map out my own system.

if they're not vented the pumps can burst out the fittings on the bag if you accidentally bump them on or leave them on.

True. But in the case of the IBS and ski locker sack (if you're using the rear seat sack in there), the bow cushions and ski locker door will push up long before the sack is full.

understood, and if those are indicators enough for you then that's fine, making aware of any possibilities is all.

Does anyone know how the stock vent hose is run? My rear lockers kept siphoning out the vent before I moved them to the opposite side. I don't want the same to happen with the bow...although I guess there won't be as much pressure when only 1/2 full.
