Wakesurfing footage? (video inside)

It was a good feeling. Man it took me waaaaay too long. Last season I was pretty flat. I feel things are coming together this season. The big turns are coming around too. ( I think anyway  )

Also, I have settled on keeping my board for a good long time. I think constantly switching boards like I have has left me in the learning phase perpetually. Starting to feel really comfortable on it.

Well, I will say...... doing a 3 on that Fangtail is pretty freaking hard. Def the hardest board I've ever tried to spin........by far.

soooo does jumping ability translate to big airs? If so I'll just give up now.

Good lord I hope not! I mean the best I could ever reliably ollie a skateboard as a kid (when I literally skated like 4 hours a day for like 4 years) was up a high curb.

Though I think being able to jump high must make a difference at the upper levels? those guys can just BOING! like a human spring and then bring their knees to their ears. Sorta like the guys who can ollie a skateboard over a trash can.

Meh, I don't think it necessarily does..............but at the same time, it sure does help.

And funny you mentioned ollie-ing a trash can. We ride regularly with a guy who use to skate.....and he picked his skateboard up for the first time in 10 years just the other day..............and ollied a trashcan. Pics and everything. But on a wakesurf, I still 'out air' him. Once he figures it out he's gonna absolutely boost tho. I'll stand no chance. Dude, gets huuuuuuuge air on a wakeboard with zero effort. But all that said? I have no idea what his springs are like away from board sports, (which is crazy now that I think about it). I'll put him through the paces tomorrow when I see him and report back with my findings.

I think a good deal of my problem might be as simple as lifting my knees. Sounds like something to try.... I can defiantly feel the board Pop under my feet and need to learn to use it.

The color of that water is amazing. Definitely not the delta

You are bringing too much speed into that 360. Slow it down and try to break the spin into steps

^^^^+1 looks like paradise

I know this sounds funny but try less effort more casual

And your right I got a chuckle ( been there so many times)

Cheers
