More, more, more storage

I have been tossing the idea of installing a glove compartment

in my closed bow sporty. I don't have very much storage other

than the bow which can get pretty hard to access at times. ( taking in

consideration two subs, two batteries, 8-10 vest and a ski)

So I would like everyones input on this one...

Here is a hatch that I thought about using.

With this hatch, but in the smaller size. Then a little bit of creativity

on the bowl or box part of it. If anyone has done this or has a better

solution (beside upgrading) please let me know.

I started working on a project similar to that on my old Sportster to save some cash, but I ended up just buying the factory glovebox and lid and then modified it to make it deeper.

The factory glovebox looks a lot cleaner than anything you can buy aftermarket.

Plus, the Overton's box is $70.00! How much more could the factory box be? I'm of the opinion that if you can get it factory, spend the money - it looks soooo much nicer.
