Auto wedge question

I have 2012 vlx and if I have full (4 tank) ballast and a loaded on people and wedge set at max I can not get up on plane. Should I put wedge all the way down and leave it or can I start it all the way down and once I get on plane raise it to max?

Your auto wedge will put it all the way down for you on start out and tight turns and then raise it up to your setting when you reach 85% of your set cruise speed

go into settings on the maliveiw, choose wedge, choose auto wedge. You should be all set.

I'm doing this from memory. I could be wrong on the wording but it's in settings on the Maliview.

Auto wedge is NOT enabled from the factory. You have to activate it yourself otherwise you will have trouble planing out if you didn't put the wedge in the full down position. I think this is a mistake as a lot of new boat owners have had trouble planing out not knowing the auto wedge wasn't activated, and dealers may overlook this during delivery prep.
