Engine sputter

Last night while pulling my kids and their friends on the tube my '07 VRide sputtered for a brief moment as if it was not getting a steady flow of fuel to the injectors then quickly recovered. I ran it hard a couple of times after that and let it iddle for a while with no issues. I have noticed it doing this a previous time as well, but it always seems to be just for a brief moment and then seems runs normal. It seems to have happened both times while running between 1800-2000 rpm. This boat is new to us, and has 197 hours on it. Any ideas or thoughts?

Whens the last time the fuel filter was changed? I'd start there.

I honestly do not know. We did not get the maintenance records from the previous owner. This is our first summer with the boat. We bought it with 189 hours and we have put about 8 hours on it so far. We are loving it so far, but would like to figure this out before it turns into a more consistent problem or causes other problems.
