Shrink wrap rub marks

Recommended Posts

I just picked up my boat from winter storage yesterday and didn't get a chance to get a good look at it until today. I noticed several rub marks on the black gel coat; I assume these are from the shrink wrapping. Mad.gif I tried removing them with an oxidation remover, but it only helped a little bit and didn't take them off completely. Are the marks a common thing from shrink wrap or do I have a beef with the marina? Any advice would be appreciated.

First I tried a cleaner wax which did absolutely nothing. Then I tried the Meguiar's color restorer and I didn't notice a difference. After that, I tried Meguiar's Oxidation Remover and it did very little. Should I try a rubbing compound next?
