Mxz 22 vs. A22 Wakeboard wake only

Recommended Posts

How close are these two when it comes to the wakeboard wake? When they are evenly weighted are there any differences? Shouldn't they be identical.

The way I understand the line both boats are on the same hull and identical until fit and finish where the wakesetter will recieve the wakesetter tratment and the Axis the Axis treatment. So the wakes identiacally weighted should be the same.

That's is what I thought.

Reason I ask is that I am hearing the A24 is G23ish type wake, so wouldn't that make the MXZ24 have a G23ish size wake? JS

I rode behind a G25 and it was nice. Can't wait to get my A22 and get the PnP put in.

The a22 hull and the mxz hull are completely different. I can't believe the misinformation that's out there. The wakes have distinct characteristics as a result. I know what I'm talking about, and if you've been behind both boats, you'd understand what I'm talking about. I like a rampier wake, so I like the a22 wake better, and which is why I have an lsv now, as opposed to an mxz. The mxz wake is steeper with less transition. If you like a slammed 230 wake, then you'll like the mxz wake.
